WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida, has made the following determinations:
1. J.D. DeLoach presented a petition for a Detached Single
Family dwelling unit in AG-5 (Agricultural - ldu/Sac) zoning for
the property described below.
2. On September 21, 1993, this Board held a public hearing on
the petition, after publishing notice at least 15 days prior to the
hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500
feet of the subject property.
3. The Class A Mobile Home determination is consistent with
all elements of the St. Lucie County Comprehensive Plan and has
satisfied the standards of review set forth in Section 11.05.02(D)
of the St. Lucie county Land Development Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
A. The St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners has

SUBJECT: Petition of J.D. DeLoach to Define A Class A Mobile Home as A Detached
Single-Family Dwelling Unit in AG-5 (Agricultural - ldu/Sac) Zoning.
On October 13, 1992 you will be asked to review the above-referenced petition that
would allow the applicant to place a new 26' X 76' Class A Mobile Home on a five acre
parcel in AG-5 (Agricultural - ldu/Sac) Zoning. The property is located on the east side of
German Canal Road, approximately six miles south west of the West Midway Road and
Okeechobee Road intersection.
Attached you will find a copy of the staff report, any letters received for and against
this petition, and Draft Resolution 93-186, which would grant approval of'this request.
Staff has determined that this petition meets the Standards of Review as set forth in
Section 11.05.02(D) of the County's Land Development Code. Staff recommends approval
of Draft Resolution 93-186.

COMMENTS
The petitioner is requesting authorization to install a mobile-home meeting the
definition of a Class A Mobile Home as set forth in Section 2.00.00 of the St. Lucie County
Land Development Code. The applicant proposes to place a new 26' X 76' mobile home
on a five acre parcel in AG-5 Zoning. The character of the surrounding area is primarily
agricultural with scattered single family homes on large lOts.
County staff has reviewed the application and determined that the proposed mobile
home unit complies with the objective standards of review as forth in Section 11.05.02(D)
of the County Land Development Code. Staff recommends approval of Draft Resolution
93-186.

Petition of J.D. DeLoach to define a Ciass-A Mobile Home as a single-family
detached dwelling unit in AG-5 (Agricultural ldu/5ac) zoning for the following de, scribed
property:
(Location: Approximately 3 miles south of Okeechobee Road and 2 miles
southeast of Carlton Road and German Canal Road intersectiOn; on the east
side of German Canal Road)
If it becomes necessary, these public hearings may be continued from time to time.
Please note that all proceedings before the BOard of County Commissioners are
electronically recorded. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by.the Board
of County Commissioners with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or
hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he may
need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes
the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.. Upon the request of

We have been processing a petition for a parcel of land that-was
originally a part of the referenced parcel located on Germany Canal
Road and owned by you according to Property Appraiser records.
During the research for this petition it came to our attention that
there has been two five acre parcels split from the master parcel
since August 1, 1990. This being the date that new codes ~went into
effect in St. Lucie County that now requires a plat to be recorded
commencing with the third parcel of land to be created or divided
from a master tract of land.
