He stated it was a beautiful ~iece of land along the St. Lucie River~ so the animals appreciate it. The 4 acres abutting it is all that is in A-1 (agriculture) zoning. Mr. Thomas, Director of Building &Zoning stated he had made great improve- ments to the property. A letter from John F. Cooper was read by the Secretary opposing this re zoning. Mr. Jack Orend stated he didn't kn~ow where Dr. Cooper's property _was and was told #27~ 3 lots above the property they were seeking the rezoning for. The County Coordinator's comments were read by the Chairman. Moved ~y R. K. Davis, seconded by Mike Skeffington to recommend approval of this petition to the Board of ~County Commissioners because the rezoning to A-1 (agriculture) was consistent with the location and with the Plan for the Savannas. Vote was polled and carried unanimously.
