RESOLUTION NO. 76-94
WHEREAS, the St. Lucia County Planning and Zoning Commission
after holding a public hearing of which due notice was published
at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing and all property
owners within 300 feet were notified by mail of said hearing, has
recommended to the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucia
County that the hereinafter described requests for changes in
zoning classification be GRANTED, AND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public
hearing on September 14, 1976 after first publishing notice of said
hearing in the News Tribune on August 12, 1976.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of St. Lucia County, Florida in meeting assembled this
14th day of September, 1976 as follows:
1. That the zoning of the following described property in

Petition of Frank DeThomas ~ for a change in zoning classification

The Planning & Zoning Commission held a publ'C hearing 7/22/76.
Mr. DeThomas was present and stated he owned the property here
petitioned and wanted to change the zoning for the fact that he is
limited to the use of the property in B-i zoning. He stated he would
like to have his own office in the building ~ut it is not allowed in
B-I~ and he also has a tenant who will have an artist and craft store
in ~he other half. He stated there was a little shack on the property
which he is going to tear down. He stated h~ had cleared the lot of
dense growth where kids were hanging out and evidence of what was
happening Was found~ He stated the new buil$ing will zmprove the
area and that he would abide with the new landscaping ordinance.
Mr. William Sides stated he lives at 5708 Seagrape, and the
proposed building will beautify the area and.by ~u~ting down the
dense growth now yOu can sea the area~ and that he as' well as all
the other adjacent p'~operty owners agree that this will be a big help
for Midway Road.
Mrs. Schwab stated she felt the new building would be 100% better
than the shack now existing on the property.
Mr. DeThomas stated to the West of his property is B-2~ to the
Northeast is B-! and he is between both.
Mr. Bob Quinn from Silver Oak Drive stated he was in favor of the
rezoning.
The Chairman read the County Coordinator's comments.

He stated his building would improve the area, and plans to abide with the
new landscaping ordinance.

for this type of building.

RESOLUTION NO. 76-94
WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission
after holding a public hearing of which due notice was published
at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing and all property
owners within 300 feet were notified by mail of said hearing, has
recommended to the Board of County Commissiolners of St. Lucie
County that the hereinafter described requests for changes in
zoning classification be GRANTED, AND
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
