Cooper to amend the future land use classification of the St. Lucie County Growth Management Policy Plan from SU (semi-urban) to RL (low density residential development) for property located approximately 950 feet west of Eleven Mile Road on the north side of Okeechobee Road. Mr. Cooper appeared b~fore the Board and stated he wanted to build a house on the property involved and had been advised that Plan Amend~ent w~the best way to go in order to conform with GMPP land use requirement. Mr. Cooper'also said he did have an easement from Mr. Harold Hinton for access. Mr. Tiernan made a motion to approve the petition and it was seconded by Mrs. King. The vote was as follows: Yes: Gotham, King, Scott, Skeffington, Tiernan, Davis.
