hereby advised that Mr. and Mrs. Martin Cooper have petitioned
the Planning and Zoning Commission to amend the future land use
classification or-the St. Lu~ie County Growth Management Policy
Plan from SU (semi-urban) to RL (low density residential
development)for the following described property:

The first public hearing on the petition will be heId at 7:30 P.M.
on Thursday, September 24, 1981, in Room 101, St. Lucie County
Administration Building, 2300 Virginia Avenue, Ft. Pierce, Florida.

at that time.
If you no longer own property adjacent to the above described parcel,

PUBLIC HEARING
Petition of Mr. and Mrs. Martin W. Cooper to amend the future
land use classification of the St. Lucie County Growth Management
Policy Plan from SU (semi-urban) to RL (low density residential
development) for property located approximately 950 feet west of
Eleven Mile Road on the north side of Okeechobee Road.
Mr. Cooper appeared b~fore the Board and stated he wanted
to build a house on the property involved and had been advised
that Plan Amend~ent w~the best way to go in order to conform
with GMPP land use requirement. Mr. Cooper'also said he did
have an easement from Mr. Harold Hinton for access.
Mr. Tiernan made a motion to approve the petition and it
was seconded by Mrs. King. The vote was as follows: Yes: Gotham,
King, Scott, Skeffington, Tiernan, Davis.
