(R-lC to A-I) Existing Land Us Vacant with widely scattered low density residential development surrounding the proposed rezoning. Future Land Use: Medium' density residential. Definite future land use plans for this 1-95 Inter- change area are currently being formulated by a planning consultaht.under contract with the County Commission. COMMENTS: The pF~pose ofthe proposed rezoning is to provide a temporary area for mining for fill required to build 95. The proposed rezoning is not incon~ stent with the future land use plans for the area. Comments of surrounding property owners and resid~ ts should be a determining factor in this propo~ rezoning to allow mining. It should be noted that the rezoning to A-1 is for the pu:rpo~ of allowing temporary mining use only until 1-95 completed.
