Existing Land Use:
Future Land Use:
The proposed rezoning is currently in producing
citrus. Surrounding the proposed rezoning
are very low density residential uses, citrus,
and improved pasture immediately north of the
property across Edwards Road.
Rural residential (low density residential).
COMMENTS:
The proposed rezoning is consistent with existing land
use in the area and future land use plans for the area.
Since the current use of the property is agricultural
production, the rezoning request to A-1 is reasonable.
