PUBLIC HEARING:
Petition of Robert and, Leuvenia Walker and Patri~ia LeViness for a change
in zoninE classification from R-lC (~esi~dential, single-family) to
(two-family, dweIling),for property located bn the east side of Oleander Avenue,
1200 ft. North of Tumblin Kling Road.
Mr. LeViness Was present and stated When he bought the property it was a
non-conforming duplex. He would like to do a service change on the property
to upgrade the servioe so eaoh tenant would be a separate me,er. He then
f6und out the property was still zoned R-t.
No one opposed the Petition.
Mr. Ament stated the proposed rezoninE is consistent with land use plans
for the area.
Ph0. Thomas said there'is not a non-conforming duplex on the property;
there is an illegal use of a single-family residence. When it was to be
developed into a duplex and the second service put in~ it was discovered the
use was illegal and it was therefore illegal to issue a permit for the second
meter.
Moved by Mr. McIve~, seconded by Mr. Tiernan, to approve t~ petition.
motion passed by unanimous vote.
~ The P!an~ing and Zoning Commission will recommend to the Board of
County Commissioners approval of this petition.
