BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
St. Lucie County, in meeting assembled this 28th day of
August, 1979 that paragraph no. 2 of Resolution No. 79-67 be
amended to correct the legal description as follows:
"2. That the zoning of the following described property
in St. Lucie County', Florida, to-wit:
All that part of the following described property not now
zoned R-lC
The ~E¼ of the SE¼ and that part of the SW¼ of the SE~
lying east of Sunrise Boulevard; all in Section 33,

RESOLUTION NO. 79-67
WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission
after holding a public hearing of which due notice was published
at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing and all owners
of property within 300 feet were notified by mail of said hearing,
has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie'
County that the hereinafter described requests for changes in
zoning classification be GRANTED, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public
hearing on August 7, 1979 after first publishing notice of said
hearing in the News Tribune on July 23, 1979,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this

from B-2 (limited business) and R-lC (residential single-family) to B-3 (arterial business)
for property located on the south side of Okeechobee Road, approx. 650' E. of Jenkins Road
to permit construction of a truck stop, travel store and possibly a motel in the future.
The Planning & ZonLng Commission recommended approval of the petition.
Mr. Van Orem was present and offered to. show the Board some sketches of prop6sed plan
but it was brought out that this was not necessary for rezoning'- that site"degelopment
plan approval would come later, if necessary.
Moved by Com. Park to adopt Resolution No. 79-67 which authorizes this change of
zoning as well as two previous ones, was seconded by Com. McCain, and upon roll call
unanimously carried.
