One o.f the man amendments to this Act dealt with the procedures to be fe lowed for amending a Local._ Government's Comprehensive Plan. Inder the previous statute, th~ board of county commissioners, only had to certify that the Local Planning Agency held a public hearing on the propose~ comprehensive plan, element, or portion thereof prior to it~ transmittal to the State Land Planning Agency for review.
