FROM:

DATE: May 21, 1980
SUBJECT: May 22, 1980, Rezoning Public Hearings
A- RUNYON & HARRIS (A-1 to R-4~) -
Existing Land Use: The proposed rezoning is currently vacant, as is
land to the west and south. Land to the north is
currently utilized for a county beach access.
Future Land Use: Medium Density Residenti'aI {maximum development
density of eleven (ll) dwelling units per gross
acre).
COMMENTS: The proposed rezoning is inconsistent with the adopted Plan for
Hutchinson Island and the future land use recommendatio~ of tX
Local Planning Agency.
The Local Planning Agency recommended that existing zoning be
utilized as a future land use plan fOr Hutchinson Island. This
would result in a future development density of one {1) dwelling
unit per acre. The adopted Plan for Hutchinson Island reflects
Medium Density Residential development in this area.
· The proposed reZoning should be reduced to R-4C (maximum
development density of eleven {ll) dwelling units per acre)
which would be consistent with the adopted Plan for Hutchin-
son Island.
