' The Planning & Zoning Co~ission held a public hearing 10/28/76. Daniel McCarty was present representing Raihbow Groves, Inc. and stated they want to build a grocery store at the corner of Glades Cut-Off Rd. He stated a grocery store is needed in this area because the nearest store is 9 miles away. He stated they only want 3.5 acres of the property re-zoned. Mr. Thomas~ Director of Building & Zoning Department stated the legal description on the petition is for the whole piece of property they own: and that they only want a small portion of it rezoned, and the description will be corrected for the hearing be- fore the Board of County Commissioners. The Chairman read the Cobh'fy Coordinator's comments. The Planning $ Zoning Board then voted to recommend approval of this petition using the correct legal description, to the Board of County Commissioners because they felt it would not create any probles for future land use.
