WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Planning and ~
Zoning Commission
after holding a public hearing of which due notice was published
at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing and a

opment. To the north and east of the proposed' re-
zoning is widely scattered low.density and medium
density residential development. To the west adja~
cent to g. S. 1 is well-maintained highway commercial
development.

COMMENTS: The proposed rezoning is consistent with future land use plans
.for the area. In the county's planning program, consideration
will be given to recommendingmedium density zoning (rather than
