' Mr. Davis asked if it would increase the size of the park and Mr. replied that when he makes any changes, it will be by site plan. Thomas, Director, Building and Zoning Road RUnner Trailer Park If you will recall, when we adopted the district regulation for R$-RV, we initiated petitions to change existing recreational vehicle parks to a conf~rming zoning of R$-RV. At this time, the petitiOn for the above referenced park, then owned by Lorne Nicholson, was denied by the Board of County Commissioners in January of 1979, for the reason that Mr. Nicholson had never complied with county regulations as to paving and construction of his park. Recently, this park was PUrchased by a man by the ns~e of James Minix, and he has made tremendous improvements in the park. He wishes now to enlarge the recreational facilities and various other parts of the park and he is handicapped by the non-conforming zoning status as it is still ZOned A-1. I advised him to seek zoning to R$-RV, which Would permit him to submit development plans for additions to the park. However, since this is less than two years since the denial of the petition by the Planning and Zoning Commission, it will be necessary for the Board to waive this time requirement.
