change in zoning from B-@ (arterial business) to R-~A (multiple
family dwellings) for property located on the west side of Deer Run
D~ive, approximately ~00:' south of Kings Highway.
~ M~. P~octor appeared before the Board and stated That when he
bought the property he
approved by the County thought, it was zoned R-~E and had a site plan

Mr. Proctor stated he wants to build ~ residential units a~d

M~. Tie,nan made a motion to app~.~ve the petition and it was
seconded by M~s. King. Upon vote, motion passed unanimously.~

Existing Laud Use:
Future Land Use:
Vacant. Surrounding land use with exception of a
golf course is also vacant.
Low Density Residential (maximum development
density of 5 dwelling units per acre).
The proposed rezoning is consistent with the adopted GMPP. A Site Plan
for a multi-family project was approved by the Board o--~County
Cccmissioners prior to the adoption of the GMPP. However, the current
zoning of B-3 will nor permit the construction of dwelling units.
Consequently, the requested rezoning to R-4A is necessary before con-
struction on the approved Site Plan can ccrmnence.
