WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning
Commission, after holding a public hearing of which due
notice was published at least 15 days prior to said hearing
and all owners of property within 300 feet were notified
by mail of said hearing, has recommended to the Board of
County Commissioners of St. Lucie County that the herein-
after described request for changes in zoning classification
be Granted, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public
hearing on January 12, 1982 after publishing a notice of

Phoenix Engineering Services was represented by Osborn O'Quinn
who said the purpose of the rezoning was to have a business for retail
sales of heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration
There was no opposition to the petition and Mr. Ament comments
were: The proposed rezoning is consistent with the changing nature of
the area and future land use recommendations of the Growth Management
Policy Plan.
A motion was made by Mr. Tiernan to approve the petition.
