Existing Land Use-
PETERsON (A-1 to B-3)
Future Land Use:
The proposed rezoning is currently occu-
pied by a single family dwelling and a
fruit stand. Without exception, surround-
ing land use is citrus.
Low Density Residential/Low Intensity
Uses.
COMMENTS: The proposed rezoning is inconsistent with existing
land use in the area and proposed future land use
plans for the area. It is also conceivable that the
proposed rezoning could easily be construed as spot
zoning, i. e., a rezoning that bears no relationship
to the surrounding prevailing zoning patterns or sur-
rounding existing land use patterns. The proposed
rezoning is also inconsistent with the Growth Manage-
ment Policy Plan in that no driveway/ac%ess regulations
governing access to an arterial roadway have yet been
established.
