$~hen Dhe Board of County Commissioners held a pu
hearing on the Petition on October 24, 1~62 they
final action and requested that the Planning and Zo
Commission consult With the City Planning Board in a~
effort to determine the best future zoning for
Avenue.
The Planning and Zoning Commission met
Planning Board and With ~i_' _~ Y. _ ' h the
Instruction on several OCcasions, when zoning for
Avenue was discussed at length. After discussing the
findings of these joint meetlngs~ the Planning and
Commission recommends to the Board of County Commissio
that the zoning of Virginia Avenue remain unchanged.

The members of the school board requested me to object
the' zouing change. We are of the opinion that the type of
business allowed ,under B~ should mot be located so close to
junior college eamlous.
Since it is necessary that I be out of town at the tim
ef the hea~ing, I am takimg this method of letting you know
~ feelings and hope that no zoning change is recommended.
