Dear Mr. Park:
Regard: rezoning of property on Sout~ Market Awe.
from R-lC to M-2 (industrial)
It is not possible for me to attend the hearing on T~
July ll on the petition for rezoning so I hope you will f~
convenient to read my comments as follows in favor of the
South Market Ave. which extends from U.S. t to Oleander is
predominately industrial. In fact the South side of the
is already over 70% industrial (1473 ft M-2 Vs 1032 ft. R-
Could there be any valid argument to deny this approval,
prevent the transfer of a cabinet shop from one location
south side of Market to a location further east on the sa~
of the street?
Of course there is a residential area on this street
justly oppose this approval because more business means ~
traffic which results in more dust on this unpaved street~
increased growth of present industry would also have a si~
result. The obvious answer is to pave the road.
Do most of the people of the county want to discoura~
clean, light industry? Would the county as a whole benem~
if the petition were denied, and the owners of this cabinE
shop were advised to look elsewhere, perhaps outside the
county?

To approve this rezoning request would be to make a more
efficient use of the property, provide for more employmen~ and
promote the general welfare of the majority of the county
residents.
The planning and zoning commission have voted in favor
of growth and progress and I feel certain the commissioners
will do likewise.
