White City is two (2) miles frc~n the site and Central is
five (5) miles from the site.
The area is served by For~ Pierce Utilities Authority,
Florida Power & Light, and Southern Bell. '

The site is not in a special flood hazard area.
The only soil present is Ankona. ~nkona has severe limitat
for septic tank absorption fields because of wetness,
hardpan, and slow percolation. Because of wetness, there
also severe limitations for buildings. These limitations
be overcome by fulling.
Access to the site is via either U.S. 1 (major arterial) or
Oleander Avenue (major collector). Both roadways are curren
over capacity.
The Proposed Plan ~nendment is consistent with Industrial
Development guidelines of the Growth Management Policy Plan.
