(Residential, Single Family - 3 du/ac)
On Tuesday, September 5, 1989, you will be asked to review a
petition you initiated on behalf of Moorehead, Rowe, Flippen &.
Ferguson, for a change in zoning from AR-1 to RS-3 for property
located generally in Dorian Subdivision, south of Orange Avenue
between Brittain Avenue and Dees Avenue. The purpose of this
request is to allow the applicants to build on lots they
purchased for that purpose, later finding that the lots do not
meet the minimum lot size requirements.9f the AR-1 district.
On Thursday, August 24, 1989, the Planning and Zoning
Comission held a public hearing on the petition. Following the
receipt of public comment, the Planning and Zoning Comission
voted unanimously to recommend approval of the requested change
in zoning.
Attached you will find a copy of the original staff report
on the matter, the unofficial minutes of the August 24, 1989,
Planning and Zoning Commisison meeting, and a copy of Draft
Resolution ~89-282, which would grant approval to the requested
change in zoning.
