OF THE GROWTH [4ANAGE~ENT POLIC~ PLAN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following determinations: 1. Callaway Land and Cattle Co., Inc. presented a petition to amend the future land use classification set forth in the St. Lucie County Growth Management Policy Plan from SU (semi urban) to RL (low density residential development) for the property described below: 2. The St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission, after holding the public hearing of which due notice was published at least thirty (30) days prior to said hearing and all owners of property within five hundred feet (500') were notified by mail of said hearing, has recommended that the Board amend the future land use classification set forth in the St. Lucie County Growth Management Plan from SU (semi urban) to RL (low density residential development) for the property described below. 3. Dale Trefelner, Chairman PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MAY 23, 1985 PUBLIC HEARING: Petition of Callaway Land & Cattle Co., Inc. to amend the future land use classification of the St. Lucie County Growth Management Policy Plan from SU (semi urban) to RL (low density residential development) for property located south of the Go Team Industrial Park on the east si~e of Glades Cut-off Road, part of The Reserve. Mr. Cal Win§field appeared to represent Callaway Land and Cattle Co. He said the property in question is located adjacent to the area that is subdivided into lots of one acre and up to four or five acres. Mr. Sciturro asked what he intended to do with the rest of the area and Mr. Wingfield said they would be developed for single family, some larger than others. He said they would have to come back for rezoning on some other parcels and they plan to put in central water and gutters. He said they will put in'their own water system, it will non be part of the Fort Pierce system and it will serve the PUD as well as this area, they will have septic tanks. There was no opposition to the petition. A motion was made to approve the petition by Mr. Coulson, it was seconded by Mrs. Harris and upon vote unanimously approved by the Board.
