WHE~, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida, has made the following determinations:
1. Allied Tower Rental of Florida, Inc. presented a
petition for a change in zoning from AG (a§ricultural) to U
(utilities) for the property described below.
2. The St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission,
held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at
least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing and notifying by
mail owners of property within five hundred feet (500') of the
subject property, and has recommended that the Board grant the
hereinafter described request for change in zoning classification
from AG (agricultural) to U (utilities) for the property
described below.
3. On February 26, 1985, this Board held a public hearing

Fort Pierce News Tribune on February 8, 1985, and notifying by
mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject

PUBLIC HEARING:
Petition of Allied Tower Rental of Florida, Inc. for a
change mn zoning from AG (agricultural) to U (utilities) for
property located 550 feet off the south side of Angle Road West,
between Godwin Road and the Sunshine State Parkway.
Mr. Anthony Quarles and Mr. Gary Spann appeared before the
Board and stated they wanted to put up a two way communications
tower on the property. Mr. Quarles said the County requires
utilities zoning for this type operation and explained that this
will not be a radio tower, it will be a two way communications
tower with space rented to individuals such as the Sheriff's
Department.
There was no opposition to the petition.
The petition was unanimously approved on a motion made by
Mr. Terpening and seconded by Mrs. Fawsett.
