Although not reflected in any of the recommended conditions
of approval, it should be noted that in accordance with the
direction of the Board of County Commissioners, the approval for
the roadway design alignment at the intersection of Reserve
Boulevard/Prima Vista Boulevard has been deferred to the Florida
Department-of Transportation. Though the Department has given a
-."conceptual" approval to the present schematic arrangement of
this alignment, they. point out that there remains some concern
about the westerly approaches accessing this interchange. Most
specifically there remains the unresolved question of compliance
with the 1984 Interchange justification report for 1-95 and Prima
Vista BouleVard, and the statements contained therein assuring a
complete public assess route from Glades Cut-off Road to 1-95.
These concerns were again conveyed' to project engineers in copies
of correspondence received in my office as recently as April 20,
1989. - ....
Noting the above comments and conditions, Staff would
recommend that you forward this petition to the Board of County
Commissioners with a recommendation of approval. If you have any
questions, please let us, know.

Although not reflected in any of the recommended conditions
of approval, it should be noted that in accordance with the
direction of the Board of County Commissioners, the approval for
the roadway design alignment at the intersection of Reserve
Boulevard/Prima Vista Boulevard has been deferred to the Florida
Department of Transportation. Though the Department has given a
"conceptual" approval to the present schematic arrangement of
this alignmentj they point out that there remains so.me concern
about the westerly approaches accessing this interchange. Most
specifically there remains the unresolved question of compliance
with the 1984 Interchange justification report for 1-95 and Prima
Vista Boulevard, and the statements contained therein assuring a
complete public assess route from Glades Cut-off Road to 1-95.
These concerns were again conveyed'to project engineers in copies
of correspondence received in my office as recently as April 20,
1989. '
Noting the above comments and conditions, Staff would
recommend that you forward this petition to the Board of County
Commissioners with a recommendation of approval. If you have any
questions, please let us know.

Though the Department has given a
"conceptual" approval to the present schematic arrangement of
this alignment, they point out that there remains some concern
about the westerly approaches accessing this interchange. Most
specifically there remains the unresolved question of compliance
with the 1984 Interchange justification report for 1-95 and Prima
Vista Boulevard, and the statements contained therein assuring a
complete public assess route from Glades Cut-off Road to 1-95.
These concerns were again conveyed' to project engineers in copies
of correspondence received in my office as recently as April 20
1989. '
Noting the above comments and conditions, Staff would
recommend that you forward this petition to the Board of County
Commissioners with a recommendation of approval. If you have any
questions, please let us know.
