LUCIE ~U~ FLORIDA WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following determinations: 1. Callaway Land and Cattle Company presented a petition for a change in zoning from AR-1 (Agricultural, Residential -1) to RS-2 (Residential, Single Family -2) for the property described below. 2. The St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission, held a.publ.ic hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing and notifying by mail owners of property within five hundred feet (500') of the subj. ect property, and has recommended that the Board approve the hereinafter described request for change in zoning classification from AR-1 (Agricultural, Residential -1) to RS-2 (Residential, Single Family -2) for the property described below. 3. On May 14, 1986, this Board held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing a notice of such hearing in the Fort Pierce News Tribune on April 24, 1986, and on April 25, 1986, and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property. 4. MEMORANDUM~ On January 23, 1986, this Commission heard a request from Callaway Land and Cattle Com- pany, Inc. for a change in zoning from AR-1 to RS- 2 for property located within the planned community known as The Reserve. This petition was approved by a unanimous vote by this Commission. County Staff recommends approval of this petition.
