BEAR POINT MITIGATION BANK MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 22, 2021 MEETING
Members Present: Roger Jacobsen, Ben Balcer, Caroline Valentin
Others Present: Freda Posin
The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. by Mr. Jacobsen, Chair, in Conference Room 3, 2300
Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, Florida. Following roll call, it was determined a quorum was present.
There were no public comments.
Mr. Jacobsen asked for a motion on the minutes from the June 23, 2021 meeting. Ms. Valentin made a
motion to approve the minutes. Mr. Jacobsen passed the gavel Mr. Balcer and seconded the motion. The motion
carried unanimously.
Mr. Jacobsen reported the following actions with regards to debits and credits since the last meeting:
1. FDOT SR A1A Causeway Project – FDEPT Ledger debited for .34 on 7/1/21 and ACOE Ledger
debited for .34 on 6/29/21
2. Purchase through Craig Chown – .03 State Credits – Samuels Mangrove Alterations – FDEP
Ledger was debited 8/5/21
3. Purchase through Craig Chown – .01 State Credits – Douglas Fuge Resident 7/30/21
Mr. Jacobsen also shared the Fifth Amendment to the Reservation Agreement with FEINBAN8, Inc., care
of Yan Wong will expire on September 14, 2022.
Mr. Jacobsen reported that the remaining available credits are as follows:
Federal Credits – 7.00
State Credits – 8.10
Mr. Jacobsen reported the pooled cash for the Bank is currently $629,790.74.
There being no further business, Ben Balcer motioned to adjourn and Caroline Valentin seconded the
motion. The meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
