Re: Collection of St. Lucie County Park Impact Fees
Dear Kolter Signature Homes LLC
A courtesy reminder letter and impact fee statement was mailed in the month of June by St
Lucie County advising of outstanding Parks impact fees. Although the City and County are still
working on an agreement for Parks Impact Fees, County Parks Impact Fees are still due.
This letter serves as initiation of the ACM (Alternative Collection Method) process as outlined in
Section 24-174 of the St. Lucie County Code. County Parks Impact Fees are due and are to
be paid to the County within 60 days of receipt of the enclosed Parks Impact Fee Statement.
St. Lucie County is responsible for providing regional County parks throughout the County to
serve all residents and businesses, including those within the City of Port St. Lucie. As Port
St. Lucie grows, the County must account for the impacts of that growth on new and expanded
County parks infrastructure and facilities to meet the increased demand. The County
accomplishes this by charging a statutory one-time impact fee on new development, including
within the City of Port St. Lucie, at the time of permit.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. The City and County have a
long-standing history of coming together and partnering to accomplish great things to benefit
the community. We will continue to work together and serve the community of Port St. Lucie
and St. Lucie County.

Re: Impact Fees - Permit#
Note: If you pay with a personal check, the County will not process the paperwork for
seven (7) business days for the check to clear. The only acceptable forms of payment for
a Satisfaction of Lien are Cashier's Checks, Bank Checks or Money Orders: These
payments require a minimum of two (2) business days to process. To apply applicable
Impact Fee Credits, you must have an executed Impact Fee Credit Agreement with the
County. Please contact us should you have any questions.
You may request a hearing within thirty (30) calendar days of the receipt of this notice
before the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County by making written
application to the address below Attention: Impact Fee Program.
